Chris Cox,who sadly passed away shortly before Christmas 2006 was associated with St Alban's church for over 50 years - joining as a chorister on the10th October 1951. He later received organ lessons from Clifford Harker, formerly organist of Bristol cathedral and celebrated conductor of Bristol Choral Society. Chris then went on to be assistant organist at St Alban's Church under Lyall Keens. St Alban's has been fortunate in having such a talented musician for so many years. When he was not playing the organ, he sang bass in the choir. The photograph shows Chris at the console of St Paul’s Cathedral.He will be greatly missed by all of us.
